Boys are Dumb

Hi loves,

So today I'm going to finish my story on the whole basketball player/number shenanigans. So after three days I still hadn't heard anything from him. However, on the third day I was in the dining hall with my friends after dinner and I saw him walking towards us. This is not an uncommon occurrence considering we are at a table right next to where people put their dirty plates away. That same room also leads to a back dining hall. So he's walking towards us (probably to go to the back dining room) and then he stops. He turns around like he is going to sit at the table in front of us. Stops again. Then he decides to sit a the table next to us. First, he chooses to sit in the chair facing away from us, but turns it so his side is facing us, instead of his back. Then he gets up and comes back. BUT, he switches his chair so that he is facing us now. Weird, right? Well anyways, I don't hear from him. Then I'm talking to one of my friends a few days later and she is telling me how she was talking to one of her friends who also plays basketball and he was telling her that my basketball player got a phone number at the game, but he did not know who it was from. WHO ELSE WOULD IT BE FROM? I literally give this kid candy at every single home game. So my friend was like, "Maybe his cheerleader?" Like come on people.

Well, since I am a nice person, I decided to help this kid out a little bit. Our last game was this past Wednesday. For the last game I made up this little back of candy that said "Congrats on a great season! *heart*, Hayley" on one side and "Happy Valentine's Day!" on the other side, since it is close to Valentine's Day. I filled this back with a crap ton of candy, a little valentine, and a handwritten note. The note said,"*name of basketball player*, Thank you for a great season! I had a really fun time being your cheerleader. Hope the rest of your games go well! See you next season! Keep in touch! xoxo, Hayley." Now, if he can't tell the same handwriting in the note is the same handwriting that wrote "call me!" then there is nothing else I can do.

xoxo, Hayley
